Facilities & Hire

We are a small group of local volunteers who manage the centre. We receive no core funding. The building has been completely refurbished with the income we receive from hire charges and some small grants for specific projects.

It is beautifully decorated with modern toilet facilities, a new heating system, and attractive blackout curtains and automatic blinds to ceiling Velux windows to enable film and slide shows . There is a small stage area with full stage lighting and we can offer limited storage space.

Facilities available are a loop system, built in a Bluetooth PA system (microphone available on request) through which your own music equipment can be played (you will need to provide connecting lead) variable levels of lighting, rotating mirror ball, projector to which your laptop can be connected, remote controlled screen for slides/presentations, accessible toilet and baby changing unit.

The kitchen has instant hot water for drinks, ‘fridge, range cooker with extractor hood, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, china and cutlery. Tablecloths plus 100 white chair covers can be provided on request for an additional charge. £25 for 25 £50 for 50 – no smaller quantities

The attractive garden at the front of the centre provides a safe and secure play area or outdoor stalls area, with all weather astro turf.

We provide an attractive, fully accessible, safe, well maintained and managed community centre on the edge of Redcatch Park.

There is on-street parking in adjacent roads or a multi-storey car park at Broadwalk Shopping Centre close by.
