The main hall is a light, airy and flexible space, capable of hosting larger numbers of people, with tables and chairs available to use.

The main hall is ideal for:

This is our largest indoor space, with the original beams letting the character of the Victorian building shine through. It also has a wooden tiled floor which has recently been restored, and helps to add a warm and friendly atmosphere to your event or activity.

Accessibility is very important to us; we want everyone to be able to use and enjoy the building which is all on one level. You will find the following accessibility accommodations at the centre:

• Entrances – use power assisted doors.
• Toilets – male, female and non-gender specific toilets with power assisted door opening, grab rails, and pull-cord alarm. Baby changing and nappy disposal facilities are also available.
• Stairs – the building is all on one level. There is one step down to the women’s toilets. There is one step up to the fire exit in the meeting room off the reception area. An “Evac+chair” is provided in this location in case of emergency.
• Ramps – permanent wheelchair ramps are in place for wheelchair users who wish to enter the garden / outdoor pitch area to the rear through all the rear doors (which are also fire exits).
• Door width – internal doors are wide enough for standard wheelchairs / mobility scooters.
